By now you’ve downloaded the app and received your confirmation email. This means the app is on your Smartphone.

IMPORTANT!
MAKE SURE YOUR SMARTPHONE GPS IS ACTIVE BEFORE SIGNING IN!

SIGN IN SCREEN
This is first screen you’ll see when you click on the app.

Step One: TAP the DATA connection button.


(we’ll cover the WiFi thing later)

Step Two: Enter your email address and password.

(If you want the app to remember this info click REMEMBER ME)

(If you forget your password click FORGOT PASSWORD and you’ll receive help in your email)

Step Three: TAP SIGN IN

Occasionally you might see a screen that says:

LOGIN ERROR: Searching for GPS Connection. If this happens, TAP OK… wait 10-15 seconds… and TAP SIGN IN again. If the network fails to load it means the GPS Feature on your phone is not activated. Activate your phone’s GPS feature and try logging in again.



HOME PAGE SCREEN

It’s important to get to know your HOME PAGE SCREEN. This screen is the launching point for any and all activities on the UniTEA Network. From here you can begin to access any of the many features of the UniTEA Mobile Social Network.

TAP THE LOGOUT TAB TO LOGOUT OF THE NETWORK


THIS TELLS YOU HOW MANY TEA PARTY ‘ALERTS’
HAVE BEEN SENT TO YOU. TAP THIS TAB TO VIEW THE ALERTS.


THIS BAR TELLS YOU YOUR LOCATION AND HOW MANY OTHER UNITEA MEMBERS ARE SHARING THE SAME CITYSPOT AS YOU.


THIS IS YOUR PROFILE INFORMATION. TAP “PROFILE” TO VIEW YOUR PROFILE INFO, CHANGE IT, UPLOAD A NEW PIC, ETC. TAP “UPDATE STATUS” TO CHANGE THE MESSAGE UNDER YOUR USER NAME. TAP “CLEAR STATUS” TO REMOVE THE MESSAGE UNDER YOUR USER NAME.


THIS IS YOUR ACTIVITIES PANEL. TAP “CHAT” TO LET OTHERS TO KNOW YOU’RE AVAILABLE FOR CHATTING. TAP “MEET” TO LET OTHERS KNOW YOU’D LIKE TO GET TOGETHER FOR A FACE TO FACE. TAP “LOCAL HOT SPOTS AND CITYSPOTS” TO SEE HOW MANY MEMBERS ARE LOCATED IN WIFI HOTSPOTS AND CITY SPOTS UP TO 200 MILES AWAY.
